My passion is providing affordable healthcare options for nurses. I’m inspired by the accessibility Telehealth offers and committed to using this technology to reach nurses nationwide while ensuring their confidentiality.

I’ve delivered Telehealth care across various platforms, including men’s health and COVID-19 testing, and am licensed in multiple states. I aim to expand my licensure and collaborate with other providers to offer high-quality care to nurses.

As a Family Nurse Practitioner based in Washington State, I recognize that nurses are among the busiest and most compassionate professionals but often need encouragement to prioritize their own health. Being married with two children, I understand the challenges of balancing work and home life. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, herbalism, and spending time outdoors in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

My name is Teresa Andress, and I am a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, and Massage Therapist with over 25 years of healthcare experience. My background spans intensive care, long-term care, pain therapy, wound care, and primary care, complemented by self-study in alternative therapies and Eastern medicine.

Seeing the shortcomings of our traditional medical system, I shifted my focus to integrative primary care and functional medicine. This approach allows me to spend more time with patients, fostering partnerships to explore the root causes of symptoms and create personalized plans for health and wellness.

During appointments, I prioritize a thorough discussion of your needs and concerns, emphasizing prevention and sustainable lifestyle changes. I use detailed personal and family histories, along with specialized lab tests, to develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving your overall health.

By choosing my practice, you can expect comprehensive support and guidance on your journey to better health, beyond what conventional providers typically offer.

I am a family nurse practitioner and owner of a private practice in Ketchikan, Alaska. I offer clinic and telehealth services to Alaskans.  My experience in many areas of nursing has helped me to support each person’s personal choices about their health.  Everyone deserves respect, privacy, and excellence in health care.

Functional medicine training has enhanced my knowledge and excitement about helping people get to the root of their health concerns so that they can feel better and live their best lives. As a member of the Institute of Functional Medicine, I have access to resources to help with food and supplement choices and a wide range of dietary plan information.

It has been shown that health coaching is a powerful tool to support ways to strengthen one’s relationship with food.   I work to help each person reach goals and maintain them with an emphasis on “food as medicine” moving forward.
